The unit is not losing to the weather. It is losing to the room above your ceiling.
Your ductwork and your air handler are in that attic. Every foot of duct runs through air 60 degrees hotter than what it is carrying. Cool air leaves the unit at 55 and arrives at the vent warmer than it should be, so the system runs longer to make up the difference.
Meanwhile the ceiling leaks. Recessed lights, top plates, the attic hatch, the duct chases. Hot humid air comes down into the house while conditioned air goes up into the attic.

Everything up there absorbed heat all day and gives it back all evening, straight down through the ceiling. That is why the upstairs stays warm long after dark, and why the system keeps cycling while you are trying to sleep.

A sealed attic runs within a few degrees of the house instead of 60 above it. In a Houston August that shows up first as humidity and runtime, then on the bill.
We will not promise you a percentage. Your equipment, windows, ducts and the rest of the envelope decide that, and anyone quoting you a savings number on a web page is guessing.

The next day starts from a cooler building.
That is the whole mechanism. No gadget, no thermostat trick. You move the insulation boundary from the attic floor to the roof line, you seal the leaks in the same pass, and the building stops fighting itself.
We measure it and hand you the paper: installed thickness, R-value, coverage area, and the reentry time from the data sheet for the exact foam we sprayed.
Not a house
The same day is harder on a metal building.
A shop roof radiates onto everything under it, and at night the humid air hits the cool panel and drips on your equipment. Warehouses, shops, barns, cold storage and tilt wall are a large part of what we do, priced by board foot against your specification and phased around an operating building.

The right answer depends on the assembly, the exposure and the budget. Anyone who quotes the same product for every job is selling inventory, not a solution.

How much does spray foam insulation cost in Houston?
Installed pricing in this market generally runs about $2.50 to $3.50 per square foot for open-cell and about $3.50 to $5.00 per square foot for closed-cell, depending on thickness and access. A typical attic lands between $4,000 and $10,000. Use the calculator for a ballpark on your square footage.
Commercial work is priced by board foot against the specified R-value, because that is how the material is consumed and how your specification is written.
Open-cell or closed-cell for a Houston attic?
Open-cell is the more common choice for attic roof decks here. It costs less per board foot, and in Zone 2A the cold climate condensation rules that complicate vapor open assemblies up north are relaxed.
Closed-cell earns its higher cost where moisture, wind uplift or structural rigidity matter: crawl spaces, metal buildings, coastal and exposed assemblies. We tell you which one your building actually needs.
How fast can you get here?
Most residential assessments are scheduled within a few days and most attics are sprayed within the same week or the next. Commercial work is scheduled around your project timeline and can be phased or done after hours.
How long before we can go back in the space?
There is no universal number, and anyone who gives you one without checking the product is guessing. The reentry period comes from the manufacturer data for the specific product and thickness applied. We post it in writing before we start and confirm it with you before we leave.
Are you insured?
Yes. We provide a certificate of insurance on request, for homeowners and commercial bids alike.
Will spray foam cut my energy bill in half?
We will not promise you a number. Energy performance depends on your HVAC equipment, windows, duct condition and how leaky the rest of the envelope is. What we can tell you is what the foam does: it insulates and air seals in one application, and in a hot and humid climate the air sealing is often worth as much as the R-value.
